The forum took place on April 17, 2024, at the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and was dedicated to the theme "Legal Education and Anti-Corruption Efforts."
The event brought together representatives of government bodies and organizations, as well as members of the academic and research communities from Russia and other member states of the SCO, EAEU, and BRICS, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and others.
During the forum’s plenary session, speakers included representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, the Accounts Chamber, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education, and other government bodies. In addition, the program featured several thematic round tables, including:
- Round table: “Education as a Tool for Combating Corruption: Legal Science and Academic Instruction”;
- Round table: “Anti-Corruption Compliance: Informing, Advising, and Training Organization Employees”;
- Round table: “Legal Education of Public Officials in the Sphere of Anti-Corruption”;
- Round table: “Raising Public Anti-Corruption Awareness: International Experience.”
As a result of the forum, a set of recommendations was adopted aimed at improving the system of legal education and anti-corruption efforts.
